Club Meetings

Slough Rotary meets on a Thursday evening throughout the year at The Pines Hotel, Wymers Wood Road , Burnham.
Members meet from 6:00pm in the Hotel Bar for a two course supper commencing at 6:30 pm. The meeting closes after coffee at between 7:30pm and 8:00pm depending on the programme. On most weeks there are post supper presentations from members or a visiting guest speaker. Full details of The Pines and maps showing the hotel's location are shown below.

Directions to The Pines Hotel

From Slough take the Bath Rd (A4) west towards Maidenhead, passing the roundabout access to junction 7 on the M4 and continuing to the next roundabout (Sainsbury Stores access).

Take the fourth turning, Lent Rise Road, and continue northwards, over the crossroads with Eastfield Road and Stomp Road, and the crossroads with Hitcham Lane and Gore Road, Shortly after this second crossroads take the first turning on the right, Wymers Wood Road, also signposted The Pines, and continue until a very sharp left hand turn. At this point you will see the Hotel Car Park on your right hand side just on the bend.

From the M4 exit at junction 7 and proceed along the dual carriageway until the roundabout at the end. Take the first exit onto the Bath Road (A4) and proceed to the next roundabout (Sainsbury Stores access). Then continue as above.

From the M40 exit at junction 2 (A355) and proceed south towards Farnham Common. Take the first turning on your right hand side, (Signposted Burnham) crossing the gap in the dual carriageway into Burnham Road. Take care, this is a twisty-turny lane and often very busy. The road bears sharply to your right (just after dropping into and climbing from a steep drop called Woodlands Hill and Ship Hill respectively), eventually becomimg Littleworth Road. Ignore other roads to left and right and continue along Dropmore Road towards Burnham. As residential housing begins to appear and just after a lane junction on your left hand side take a residential road on your right, Poyle Lane. Continue to the end of this residential lane to the T-juntion with Wymers Wood Road. Bear right here and the Pines Hotel Car Park is shortly on your right hand side just on the next bend.
