The walks starts from 3rd Upton Scout Hut, any time between 9.00am and 1.00pm, you choose.
Return for the finish any time up to 4.00pm, to get your certificate.
Entry is only £5 per adult in advance of 1st April 2020 or £10 after that with accompanied children free.
Tips for Walkers
A few details, to help you enjoy your day.
Start. Start/Finish at The car Park, Upton Court Park, Upton Court Road, Slough, SL3 7LU.
The entrance gates will be open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please check-in at the desk when you arrive, before you start the walk. You may start the walk from 9:00 am, with the latest start time at 1:00pm. Marshalls will be on hand to direct you to the free parking and start/finish control.
Checking In. All walkers must check in at both start and finish. If you are collecting donations online, you will be asked to give us an estimate of the amount you expect to collect, and the website you are using, for our records. If you have used a printed Sponsorship form, please bring it with you to get a signature.
Map & Discover. To get the most out of your walk print a copy of the Map and the Walk Guide from the website.
Clothing. Wear comfortable shoes or boots and carry a bottle of water. Depending on the weather forecast a lightweight waterproof, a sun hat, sun glasses and other suitable clothing should be considered. Water is available at the start.
Toilet Facilities are available in the start/finish area and public toilets in Eton are marked in the Walk Guide. There are also many public houses along the route.
Refreshments, hot BBQ food and hot and cold drinks are available at the start/finish area and at various establishments along the route.
Safety. Walking on public roads/footpaths can be hazardous and appropriate personal safety precautions should be taken. All walkers taking part in Slough Together Walk - 2020 do so at their own risk. The Rotary Club of Slough, its officers and members, shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss howsoever caused.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control, please respect public notices.
Fun! New this year, there will be a Bouncy Castle at the finish, for the youngsters.
Finish. This is a circular walk, so it finishes where you started. Remember to collect your souvenir walk completion certificate before leaving. We also request that you complete our short Walkers' Questionnaire, and put it into the draw. It takes only a minute and will give us useful feedback to make any improvements so next year you will enoy the walk even more!
