ROTARY FREE BOOK SHOP  Slough High Street

Sadly for us and the community, the landlord  of the shop has found a tenant for the property we occupied and we had to move out on 31 st October with 36 hours notice.

Sincere thanks to all the Slough Charities that helped or offered their help to move the books and equipment out of the shop at short notice.
Special thanks to SCVS, Slough Community Transport, Look Ahead Hostel, and for offers of help  Rotary Club of Langley and Iver, Aik Saath, Diana Coad and a number of private individuals.
 
We have stored all the books and equipment locally and are in the process of looking for another vacant shop in the high street and hope to be back in the New Year.

Slough Rotary now has a presence in Slough High Street.  The shop is right in the centre of the town (next to River Island, opposite the Empire Cinema on the south side of The Square) and is open every Saturday morning.  Books of all kinds, (fiction, non-fiction, childrens etc) are given away free and there will be an opportunity to donate if you wish.  This is another fantastic facility for Slough Rotary to serve the community and it is already a great hit with Saturday morning shoppers. The Opening hours are currently Saturday Closed until further notice
